North East industrialist who drove NEtaji's car dies

Bawri, who had claimed to have driven the car of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose
in Shillong, died at his home here, family sources said.
Bawri, 92, had been keeping indifferent health for quite some time and died late last night.
His mortal remains will be cremated today at 2 pm, family sources said.
As a noted philanthropist, Bawri was associated with various social and political organisations during his youths and until late in his life.
In media interviews, Bawri claimed that he had driven the car of Netaji in Meghalaya during the latter's visit to the state.
