In 1980s through 1990s, this book on Netaji written in Bengali became an all-time best seller . And it is still remembered and read.

 However, when the late author, sri Sailesh De, wrote this book ,many information  on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose , whose death is still shrouded with mystery, remained classified with various government depts across the globe.
